dc.description.abstract	The effect of superabsorbent polymers on Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) and Austrian pine (Pinus nigra Am.) seed germination and the development of 1-year-old- and 2-year-old seedlings were analyzed. The study results show a positive effect of polymers on seedling development of model species, so they can be considered to be a good recommendation for a wider implementation in seedling production of coniferous tree species.	en
