dc.description.abstract | Na osnovu podataka o najranijoj ontogenetskoj fazi, analizirani su kvalitet semena, brzina razvoja klijavaca i morfometrijski parametri različitih provenijencija brdske bukve. Statistički parametri ukazuju na značajnu genetičku varijabilnost unutar i između različitih provenijencija. | sr |
dc.description.abstract | Numerous morphological, biological and ecological researches of the European beech subspecies moesiaca have been initiated since Černjavski's 1948 study of leaves and fruit characteristics showing that south-eastern parts of the Balkan peninsula are populated both by Fagus sylvatica L. and Fagus moesiaca (Domin, Maly) Czeezott. The researches have focused on the latest stages of plant development, and specific traits and variability of Fagus moesiaca have been observed in different natural stands. No more than a few papers refer to studies of the morphological, anatomical and developmental characteristics of seedlings and plants in the juvenile development stage. An analysis of seed quality, seedling development rate and morphometrical traits of different beech provenances was made in accordance with the available information on the earliest ontogenetical phase. Based on statistical parameters, there is a significant genetic inter- and intra-provenance variability. Genetic variability is an important precondition for a provenance gene pool conservation and sustainable use. Also, an observed variability of seed quality and seedling traits could play a significant role in the estimation of future development of seedlings, which indicates a proper research method aimed at ensuring improvements in seed and plant production technology. | en |
