Application of super-absorbent polymers in forestation of degraded terrains
Апстракт
U radu su prikazani rezultati analize uticaja super apsorpcionih polimera na preživljavanje i razvoj sadnica belog i crnog bora, u prvoj godini nakon pošumljavanja. Na osnovu praćenja serije postavljenih ogleda konstatovan je pozitivan uticaj polimera na preživljavanje i njegovo stimulativno dejstvo na visinski prirast i razvoj korenovog sistema sadnica. Dobijeni rezultati mogu se smatrati dobrom preporukom za masovnu upotrebu polimera pri pošumljavanju degradiranih terena. .
This paper presents the results of analysis of the influence of absorbent polymers to survival and growth of seedlings in white pine (Pinus silvestris) and black pine (Pinus nigra) in the first year of forestation. Based on the follow-up of series of experiments which were set up, a positive influence of polymers was established for the survival and stimulating effect to growth in height and development of root system. Results obtained may be considered a good recommendation for massive use of polymers when foresting degraded terrains. .
