Biological recultivation is conducted regularly on ash and slag dumps of thermoelectric power plants. New methods and new plant species for use in the process of recultivation are being investigated by experts the world over. Bermuda grass (Cynodon dactylon) represents a potentially valuable species that should become an ingredient of sowing mixtures used in the process of revitalisation of ash and slag dumps of thermoelectric power plants.
